Reporting to Tom Hanks – Vice President (based in Phoenix/Atlanta, USA Offices)

The Role

Purpose & objectives of the role:

The role will involve evolving and developing CoGri’s presence in Canada, offering our specialist industrial floor flatness testing and remediation services. Visit www.cogriusa.com for an example of the range of services that will be offered in Canada.

The initial scope and responsibility of this position is:

1. Researching and establishing new business.

Build and maintain relationship with new and existing clients, sourcing new opportunities. Developing new business from leads generated or through existing contacts, incoming calls / web leads.

2. Create exposure of CoGri brand in relevant sectors.
a. Meet with MHE and automation vendors.

b Identify and target potential “end user” clients.

c. Identify and target any potential industry sectors where CoGri may benefit from participation/workshops to increase exposure.

d. Utilize leads passed on by Management to target potential contacts and opportunities.

3. Generate interest and requests for proposals for CoGri testing and remediation services.
4. Pass back information and requests to CoGri Management for proposal generation.
5. Present proposals to Clients and develop potential meetings between clients and CoGri management.
6. Develop a business strategy covering to further develop CoGri Canada’s brand within the relevant sectors with a 1-2 year plan and projected forecast.

Full support will be given either in person (when Tom Hanks and others visit Canada when required), from our USA offices and also remotely from the CoGri Group headquarters in the UK with the aim of training the individual so they can learn the technicalities of CoGri’s services sufficiently to be able to ultimately converse with potential clients.

This position will directly work alongside a team of administration, floor flatness surveyors, remediation teams and CoGri senior management.
When certain milestones of business growth have been reached, a specific level of management will need to be developed taking on roles such as estimating, sales, operations and project management.

The Business Development and Sales Manager is also responsible for the financial governance that includes adherence to Company policies, standard operating procedures, technical specifications and national regulations.
