The CoGri Group would like to thank all the visitors to our stand at IMHX 2022. The CoGri Group has been exhibiting at IMHX, the logistics solution show, since its introduction in 2001.
Now in its 21st year, IMHX has established itself as a major trade show with many key logistics exhibitors and a lot of visitors eager to network and find supply chain solutions.
This year’s exhibition proved to be a great one for our group of companies, with many visitors stopping by to discuss their flooring problems and requirements. We had an amazing show and were delighted to see you all.
Exhibiting on stand 5C60 of the show were the intrepid teams from Face Consultants, Concrete Grinding, and CG Flooring Systems. Unsurprisingly, a lot of the discussions on our stand involved automated warehouses and how important surface regularity was for maximum efficiency and cost-efficiency:
Face Consultants were happy to debate the necessity of independent floor surveying and testing to evaluate a warehouse floor’s ability to meet robotic manufacturers’ specifications.
For those considering building a new structure, Face’s design team explained how structural floor design and detailing were essential to allow for operational loading from the introduction of such technology as Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automatic Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Collaborative Robots (Cobots), and Goods-to-Person (G2P).
Finally, Face 3D scanning consultants were often engaged by visitors eager to discover if modern technology such as this could work and how it would benefit their warehouses. Our teams were happy to explain that they were able to combine the tried and tested reliability of Face floor profilers with the latest 3D scanning equipment to produce accurate data and guidance on remedial grinding.
CG Flooring was equally as busy discussing corrective grinding to bring slabs within compliance of desired specifications, all with minimal disruption to ongoing operations. Grinding plans for AMR and ASRS were suggested, alongside floor repairs for damaged joints and surface defects.
Concrete Grinding found their visitors were keen to talk about the flatness of the floors for VNA trucks, whether automated, semi-automated, or manual. Most realised that the flatter their floor, the more efficiently their operations would run, no matter the equipment used. Having worked alongside some of the largest names in retail, manufacturing, and logistics, Concrete Grinding had essential advice to give.
Group Managing Director Kevin Dare, in attendance at the show, said:
“IMHX is invariably a great opportunity to talk to visitors keen to discover why and how floors are vital to the success of their operations. No matter what type of materials handling equipment is used, its performance will always be enhanced by a flat floor. We have the knowledge, skills, and equipment (designed and manufactured in-house at our UK headquarters) available to help any company’s warehouse operate more cost-effectively, faster, and efficiently.”
He continues “IMHX is a brilliant opportunity to meet both new faces and old friends and we always thoroughly enjoy our conversations. As usual, many discover that they need our help, even though they didn’t know it.”
Kevin concludes, “Of course, if you didn’t get a chance to visit us at IMHX, you can still contact us now with any flooring queries you have!”
