The Role
Face Consultants GmbH is expanding its operations across the DACH region and is seeking a motivated and organised Junior Project Manager to join our team in Friedberg. This role combines project coordination with technical on-site work for clients within industrial flooring, logistics, and warehouse automation.
You will assist in the delivery of floor surveys and technical assessments in accordance with standards such as DIN 18202, DIN 15185, and requirements from specialist logistics and automation systems (e.g. AutoStore, Exotec, HIK Robotics, and other high-tolerance systems). You will also support our floor remediation services, including concrete repairs, high-tolerance grinding, and overlay systems.
Position Information
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, scheduling, and delivery of projects across the DACH region.
- Carry out on-site floor surveys using company-approved laser-based and profilograph-style equipment.
- Produce clear, accurate reports aligned with DIN 18202, DIN 15185, and relevant logistics system specifications.
- Liaise with clients, logistics system providers, developers, and general contractors.
- Coordinate technicians on site and ensure project tasks run smoothly.
- Assist with resource planning, cost control, and project documentation.
- Support floor remediation projects including repairs, grinding, and surface treatments.
- Attend technical meetings and represent Face Consultants GmbH professionally.
- Provide support to other EU teams when required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in the construction sector (industrial flooring, civil engineering, logistics, or related fields).
- Understanding of basic project planning and on-site coordination.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — German and English fluent.
- Valid Class B driving licence.
- Comfortable working on active construction or warehouse sites.
- Good computer literacy (MS Office, reporting tools).
Desirable (but not essential)
- Knowledge of industrial concrete flooring or resin systems.
- Experience with floor surveying or measurement technology (laser-based systems, profilograph, etc.).
- Health & Safety certifications (SCC/VCA, First Aid etc.) – can be arranged by the company.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation systems and their floor requirements.
