CoGri Australia carried out laser grinding for a global fortunate 500 company at a facility in Sydney’s Western suburbs recently.
The warehouse was an existing facility with a 6000m2 extension built on to the end of it. In all there are 2,430 linear metres of narrow aisles of which 1050 linear metres needed grinding to the DM3 specification.
The work was carried out using the CoGri’s patented Laser Grinder®, and the main floor was a post tension floor with a jointless floor as the extension.
CoGri Australia also carried out some floor joint repairs and resealing to the existing PT slab.
To improve efficiency, Linde narrow aisle fork trucks will eventually be brought in to offer full automation on site. As a result of this move, the company are set to make savings of hundreds of thousands of dollars per year by moving to a fully automated narrow aisle configuration.
